Sickle Cell Anemia

Sickle cell, or sickle cell anemia, of course the name tells part of the story, is an anemic reaction of the blood cells, and it appears that in the sickle cell patients there is a continual starving of nutrition at a blood cell manufacturing level, and certainly a continual starving of oxygen at a blood cell level. This gives many different varying symptoms of the sickle cell victims, and also causes the cells themselves to have a sickle shape, not a round shape, and of course the round shape is what you want for a blood cell to be healthy, and deliver nutrients to the rest of the body. Sickle cell is more of a chronic form of anemia, and it seems to have some extra characters other than traditional anemia, such as the sickle shape of the cell, and the fact that not only are the cells starved for nutrition, the body itself, the blood, and the blood cells are starved of oxygen. Taking the Essential blend of the Complete Body Balance Kit, 13 of the body’s great minerals, and all the vitamins and amino acids that you need to get your body in general health. On top of that we need to do several more things, because it appears sickle cell victims all seem to be chronically low of certain nutrients, and it’s because their body uses up these nutrients trying to recover from this terrible disease. Keep in mind, the theory will be to grow a whole new body of healthy blood, allowing the old damaged cells to die off, naturally. For this, nutrition is needed. Some other things that I have found to be very helpful on top of the Complete Body Balance Kit is extra Magnesium, and I highly recommend it at 1 to 2 ounces a day. The cells of the sickle cell seem to be continually starved of Magnesium. Zinc is one of the essential components of the red blood cells, so extra Zinc, at least an ounce a day, is definitely needed, a teaspoon of Copper a day, 1 teaspoon of Iron, and of course Iron is no good to the body without Vitamin C, so you need to be taking some big doses of Vitamin C in this case. Because there’s been some research that heavy doses of Vitamin C have really proven to be beneficial here. I recommend 5,000 mg a day of a good buffered natural Vitamin C, one that’s mixed with, rose hips rich in bioflavonoids.

Also, on the vitamin front Zinc needs Vitamin A and Vitamin A is part of the make-up of the cells here, so I highly recommend at least 10,000 IU’s a day from fish liver oil. The body needs all the nutrients it can get. Because you have a lot of chronic eye problems with sickle cell, as the blood is in such bad shape that it is not delivering the proper nutrition to the eyes, and Vitamin A is one of the essential vitamins for the eyes.

You need Selenium because of its absolute ability to be a great super antioxidant, and a lot of sickle cell victims seem to have extreme Selenium deficiencies. I recommend a full 1 ounce a day of Selenium in this case, and with Selenium it’s partner is Vitamin E, and you should be doing about 1,200 IU’s a day of natural Vitamin E, with mixed tocopherols. We need to do a few other things because the body is continually starved of oxygen, therefore, there is a mineral product that puts oxygen in the blood system, and that mineral is Germanium. I recommend that you take an ounce of Germanium a day or less if it is a child. You also need a few mg a day of folic acid and a couple thousand mg a day of fish oil.

Now, what we’ve done with all these different nutrients is to allow the blood to have as much nutrition as it can for the blood cells, and allow the blood to get thinner. Fish oil will thin the blood, all the different things that we’re recommending here are designed to thin the blood, but we also need to add some other things to it to thin it even more. The reason you need the blood thinner is because the blood needs to deliver oxygen and nutrients to all parts of the body so you can improve circulation.

Another amino acid that has been found to be very effective in sickle cell victims is that of L-argenine, and you can pick it up at your local health food store. Take 100 mg 2 or 3 times a day. It shows some very strong benefit. Vitamin B-6 also tends to help about 100 mg 3 times a day, and Vitamin B-12, a thousand micrograms 2 or 3 times a day based on how much energy you want, because that will tend to give you some energy. To help thin the blood even more, I recommend some herbal teas, red clover very much thins the blood, ginger very much increases circulation, there’s a tea called essiac. This tea came originally from Renee Caisse’s recipe, and essiac is Caisse spelled backwards – essiac, a very powerful herbal tea on that front of cleaning the blood, and increasing the circulation. To help clean the blood, milk thistle, and dandelion are known to work. So get red clover, ginger, essiac, milk thistle, and dandelion, and I would recommend mixing them all together, and making a very powerful herbal tea, and drinking a cup or even two cups a day. You’ll find this to be very, very relaxing. While at the health food store pick up some Liquid Chlorophyll. Take 2 ounces per day, this will greatly increase healthy blood production.

OK, let’s do a bit of a review of this lengthy product list for sickle cell anemia. You need the Complete Body Balance Kit, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Iron, Selenium, and Germanium. Now that I covered a list of all the extra minerals you need, because you have a very serious case of anemia – chronic anemia, and all these things are needed to put the body back into a position for future growth, and future healing. On the vitamin front you need extra Vitamin A from fish liver oil, high doses of Vitamin C, about 5,000 mg or more, Vitamin E, about 1,200 IU’s a day of a natural Vitamin E, fish oil to thin the blood and keep the platelet cells from sticking together, a little bit of extra folic acid every day, L-argenine about 300 mg a day scattered out a little bit, 100 mg 3 times a day of B-6, on B-12 about a thousand micrograms 2 or 3 times a day. Herbal teas for blood cleaning, blood thinning, and circulation. I highly recommend red clover, milk thistle, dandelion, essiac, and ginger teas. Ginger very much increases circulation also. Liquid Chlorophyll 2 ounces per day.
