Bone Density

It appears that this has become a chronic problem and a lot more frequent in America, and of course, there are many reasons for that, lack of nutrition, obviously being the number one cause, and a low body ph for an extended period of time throughout our lives. Many things contribute to the fact that we have a low bone density. The ladies obviously have a harder time with this than the men in a lot of cases, because they go through their child bearing years. And what does that mean? It simply means that their body has to use up a lot more nutrients in their bones than men do in order to create life for our children, and we really appreciate them for that, but we have to overcome this bone density problem.

Obviously, nutrients are what you need if you have been diagnosed with a bone density problem, because they are far too porous, and have improper density. Now we’re talking about extra nutrition over and above the Complete Body Balance Kit which is your 13 major minerals, and all the vitamins and amino acids needed to synergize those minerals which are excellent, and good for bone density. I would add an extra ounce a day of Calcium and Magnesium each. I would also add a little extra Boron, a teaspoon a day. You will also need Vitamin D, at least 800 international units from fish liver oil, and of course, there’s a lot of other nutrients that can aid in bone density, but these are your primary minerals, Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin D, Boron, and a bit of Manganese, an extra teaspoon a day to help keep you from having a stiffening of the tendons, because driving those nutrients into place can be very beneficial here. A little extra Vitamin B-6, and B-12 would not be bad in this situation to help place the Calcium and Magnesium properly in the body, and a little bit of natural sunshine every chance you can get out into the sun. Our body manufactures Vitamin D, and even though you can take Vitamin D in a supplement form, there’s no way that a supplement will ever measure up to what the body can produce naturally, so obviously, as much sun bathing as you can do without getting burned would be a way, a natural way, of preserving the Calcium, and the other nutrients in the bones to slow down this bone density problem.

The other thing that I’d like to mention here, especially for ladies, when it comes to bone density, you need a natural progesterone cream. Progesterone creams made from plant derived products, and the one I’d like to see you use would be from a Wild Mexican Yam, which will give you natural progesterone or another bio-identical progesterone cream. It has the tendency of activating the receptor-sites in the female’s body for the estrogen to move into its rightful place. And for some reason this has a very positive effect on bone density, so if you’ve gone through menopause, and you’re looking at some bone density issues, you should consider applying this knowledge about progesterone cream. Using it about 20 days out of the month as if you’re mimicking a cycle, giving it about a 10 day break, will allow the receptor-sites to open up. For men, this is also useful. It’s actually a precursor for youthful hormones, the testosterone, pregananol, DHEA, and it helps the production of progesterone in the brain. So it works for both, male and female, but for the ladies it has a proven effect in a lot of research on bone density, and they’ve actually laid a percentage on it in some research that I have done of more than five percent a year, increased in bone density. It actually decreases the chance of the ladies having breast cancer after starting the use of progesterone cream.

Now, let’s do a re-cap on some of the things you can do for a bone density problem. The recommendations are Complete Body Balance Kit, an extra ounce of Calcium, and an extra ounce of Magnesium, or even two ounces of Magnesium to go with the Calcium everyday for a while, and then you adjust that dosage as time goes on, and an extra teaspoon of Boron everyday. This is a micro-nutrient, but very much needed in the bone density area to keep all the other nutrients locked in. Also primarily, Manganese simply because when you’re dealing with hard tissues, such as your make-up of tendons and ligaments, Manganese is one of the primary products, or primary nutrients that the body uses for that hard tissue, so obviously it can have an effect on that connective tissue area of the bone, or the bone itself, Vitamin D, an extra 400 to 800 IU’s, (international units) a day for a while, and then you can trim back to 400 IU’s a day over and above the Complete Body Balance Kit. Vitamin D, is one vitamin you gain through direct sunlight, so getting all that extra sunlight you can would be helpful. Know that if you get out in the sun for a few hours, and you get a little oily film on your skin that’s the sun pulling the oil to the surface in order for your body to turn that back into Vitamin D, so it has to be re-absorbed into the body which means you need to go for an extended period of time without taking a shower every once in a while, at least 10 or 12 hours after you have been out in the direct sunlight. You may have to go 24 hours without taking a bath to get your best doses of natural Vitamin D, and then of course the supplements can help on that front also, but will never replace the natural thing. Also a weight lifting exercise for bone density, just don’t overdue it. You want to start out very, very slow on this, and build yourself up on weight exercises, but when your body feels like weight is being put on those bones, then it will do all it can to take the nutrients that’s in the body and put it in the bones to support that weight that you are obviously having to pick up, so the exercise is important here. Take extra Vitamin B-6, 100 mg a day, B-12 1,000 micrograms a day, even 2,000 micrograms if you want the extra energy, a lot of extra Vitamin C, 2 or 3,000 mg a day could be very beneficial. If you’re having collagen problems, and that’s something we didn’t talk about up until now, unflavored Knox Gelatin could be a great source as a temporary aid to get some extra collagen going into the body. Take one pack of it at nighttime before you go to bed, mix it with a little juice, 3 or 4 ounces of juice, stir it quickly, drink it quickly, and it’s like drinking grits. It’s not fun, but that would give you some good fresh collagen for your body to work with for a month or two, and the Vitamin C will help strengthen that collagen.
